Criminal Conviction:
Can I Vote?
Español

Welcome to the ACLU of Washington's guide to voting rights for people with past criminal convictions. This tool will help you find out if a person can vote when he or she has a criminal conviction.

Many people with felony convictions are confused about whether they can vote. In Washington state, a person loses the right to vote after a felony conviction. The right to vote is restored automatically when a person is out of prison and no longer under the supervision of the Department of Corrections.
